today was Service Learning Day. My class 07S13 went to the Christian Outreach to the Handicapped to volunteer. it was a very memorable and meaningful experience. I really learnt alot from today's experience. I understood what is REALLY meant by UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. And it made me really happy to see the clients enjoying themselves. It was so heart-warming. And the bottle project that COH is currently carrying out is super cool!! They are gonna make the biggest "green" christmas tree out of JUST plastic bottles!! It's just so amazing to see what a simple thing like a plastic bottle can produce. And the mini model of the christmas tree is already so nice!! cant imagine wad the real thing will look like when it's done. And I was really touched by this phrase which the organiser of this project said: "They can be USEFUL... if you give them a CHANCE to..."
And this not only applies to the plastic bottles... but also to those ppl who have disabilities. And they are actually really nice ppl to interact with if you are willing to do so.
