Touch Camp

juz came back from Touch Camp. It was DAMN FUN!!! but im DAMN TIRED now.
the camp really brightened up my recent emo mood and I juz wanna say thanx to all my touch-rug teammates for making this camp a really memorable one for me before we step down. This camp really meant alot to me cos I couldn't go for e camp last yr due to my fractured toe. It made me feel really bonded to the team for the first time and it was really a great feeling.

The camp was planned by us J2s for the J1s, but nonetheless, we J2s had a great time too :)

Day 1: Tekan Games
The J1s had to go thru a series of station games to test their physical strength, communication skills and teamwork. At each station, they will be given puzzle pieces. When they completed all the stations, they have to come tgt to piece the puzzle tgt. The J2s also had to act fierce and stern throughout the whole nite to make the J1s treat this activity seriously. It was quite difficult for me at first cos the ppl who know me shd know that im a person who always likes to laugh, so how is it possible for me to act stern?!! I will sure laugh wan lorz. but surprisingly, though i did laugh at the start, i managed to shock many of my teammates when i was debriefing the J1s about my station. I was really stern.
Before the first station, the J1s had to do the ball endurance thing. They had to hold the rugby ball above their heads with their hands straight for about 1 hr. Then, the first station was to sacrifice a teammate to skip non-stop, while the other teammates had to carry out physical demanding exercises to "save" their fren from the torture. The second station was my station and they had to travel one round around the track with only the required body parts touching the ground. Every 100m we would change the requirement. The third station was the most fun I think. They had to cross a few obstacles with some of their teammates blind-folded and some had their hands tied up. I think the most torturous station was my station cos one team actually had members vomitting after completing my station and it made me feel so bad...
After completing the 3 stations, the J1s would find that one puzzle piece is missing. Then they had to find 256 marbles in the field in the DARK to gain half a puzzle piece. After which, they had to play 'superglue' to gain the remaining half puzzle piece. 'Superglue' was scary man. the J1s had to cuddle tgt in a cirlcle and the J2s would try to pull them apart. can u imagine how pain it was? somemore most of the J2s were quite strong.
That was the end of the first torturous nite. The remaining days were quite fun.

Day 2: Had training in the morning and all of us reluctantly dragged our feet to training. worse still, we had physical training for training!! sth which i dread the most!! after training was the amazing race. My station was at MacRitchie Reservoir and we played water bombs!!! Me and Nat were the station masters. Cheryl was following the teams to every station to make sure that everything went smoothly and she stopped at our station to chit-chat. She and Nat were damn funny la. Their actions especially. damn retarded. Made me laugh so much then they keep laughing at me when I laughed. When all the teams completed our station, we had an internal game to use finish all the water bombs. We had a war of water bombs!!! me, nat VS cheryl, gen
we had so much fun!! Then we cleared up the place and followed cheryl to the other stations since we had nth else to do. We went Botanic Gardens and the final destination was Sentosa's Tanjong Beach. On the way to Tanjong Beach, I was super highly amused by cheryl. She could not stand the snail speed of the Beach Tram and kept complaing that she could run faster than the tram. She kept shaking the tram like a crazy woman and was so tempted to jump off the tram and run to Tanjong Beach. she's really crazy la. and dunno why she oso so amused by me that she kept laughing at me! very funny meh... Along the way on the tram, we saw ms ong at a mini wedding ceremony on the beach. she's so pretty la!!! we almost thought she was e bride and all of us were so excited to see her that we all screamed her name and gave her a shock. haha. the scene was damn funny man. At Tanjong Beach, stupid cheryl woo tricked me into taking out my hp then she immediately lifted me off the sand and dunked me into the sea!! slowly, one by one, all of us were dunked into the sea, including cheryl herself. haha. it was so fun at Sentosa. After that, we made our way back to school for the Night Walk. The J1s din noe it was gg to be a night walk cos we tricked them that they were gg for an interview. haha. I was stationed at the "pontianak" station. the "pontianak" was elaine and she really looked damn scary la. all she had to do was to let down her hair and wear a white cloth over. then she sat at the physics lab corner motionless. super scary!!! one of the J1s was so scared till she cried. some others just screamed throughout the whole route. so funny to see them scream past us. haha. abit saddist horz. And the whole night I was feeding mosquitoes la. So damn itchy lehz. Now my hands, legs and even face oso got dozens of mosquito bites liaoz. Stupid mosquitoes. After the night walk was the pyjamas party. It was quite cute. we had a mini "project runway" and the J1s had to style the hair of one of their teammates using the accesories given. Then the "models" will catwalk on the "runway" we prepared for them with "spotlights" which were actually torchlights. haha. It was already 4am when the party ended. We let the J1s go to sleep while we cleared up the place. Everyone was very tired after such a long day. Almost 24 hrs of activity.

Day 3: I woke up at 7.30am and had only 2 hrs of sleep. -.-
We did reflections and watched the slideshow of the pictures from the previous days of camp. It brought back many fun and wonderful memories of the things the J1s did tgt. Quite touching. Then we did area-cleaning, packed up and broke camp.
